Butte Creek Scout Camp Boy Scouts of America, Portland, Oregon

  • Collaborated with two other managers and a staff of 20 to address needs of campers an ensure a great time at camp
  • Assisted in handling interpersonal conflicts that arose with staff members ranging in age from 14 to 40
  • Recorded all camp transactions electronically and analyzed financial information to make management decisions with a budget of $70,000
  • Placed orders with suppliers and distributors to fill the needs of the kitchen and camp store
  • Managed a kitchen staff of four people producing family style meals for 300 three times a day
  • Managed the operation of a camp store that averaged $900 in sales daily with one register

  • Created a webpage to provide access to information about the event for use by potential participants and donors
